Plot Summary:
Shrek is the story of a grumpy but kind-hearted ogre who lives peacefully in a swamp. His quiet life is disrupted when a group of fairy tale creatures - banished from the kingdom by Lord Farquaad - invade his home.
To get his swamp back, Shrek agrees to a deal with Lord Farquaad: he will rescue Princess Fiona, who is locked in a tower guarded by a dragon, and bring her to Farquaad so he can marry her and become king.
Shrek is accompanied by a talkative and hilarious companion named Donkey, and together they face wild adventures.
However, Shrek soon discovers that Princess Fiona has a magical secret - she transforms into an ogre at night due to a curse. As they journey together, Shrek and Fiona begin to fall in love, leading to a story that’s full of humor, heart, and unexpected twists.
